Checking the db Queue in the Job Manager shows that Q1IM has been constantly processing jobs for long periods of time which is impacting processes to run, such as a Report.
Insufficient Memory and/or CPU resources.
Failure to meet the minimum system requirements (RAM in particular) can have a severe impact on the time it takes to process operations in the queue. If the SQL server is limited for memory usage or the system does not have enough RAM the queue will process slowly as it continues to build up.
As noted in the Release Notes, the following minimum requirements must be met:
Data Governance Server
Data Governance Activity Database (SQL Server hosting the database)
Please note that these are minimum requirements and depending on the environment you may need double the memory. This depends on how many agents are deployed and how much data is being gathered and subsequently uploaded to the Data Governance server.
