When loading the Exchange mapping rule the error, “Error: There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706D9)” is logged in the Job Service Log.
A server has not been selected in the field "AD DC (Exchange & ActiveRoles Server)".
This has also been seen to occur when the synchronization server for Exchange is marked as a Domain Controller in the database.
Please also ensure the sync server is not marked as an Exchange server as this will result in a Powershell error!
The "AD DC (Exchange & ActiveRoles Server)" dropdown becomes available on the "Active Directory" tab when ARS is selected as the synchronization provider:
In the above configuration:
- Q1IM-DEMO is the ActiveRoles Server
- IQ1IM is a job server
- IEXCHG is the Exchange server
Select a Domain Controller from the dropdown list. As per the Identity Management Guide:
AD DC (Exchange & ActiveRoles Server): Active Directory domain controller. The Microsoft Exchange synchronization server connects to this controller when the Active Directory domainis synchronized with the ActiveRoles Server provider.
For more information, please refer to the Identity Management Guide: Active Directory Domain Extended Master Data for Synchronizing with Microsoft Exchange.
