You have over thousands of transactions flagged in Manager as outstanding (Manager->SAP->Target system synchronization), but cannot find anything in the manuals explaining why they are outstanding and you are wanting to know how to get those to automatically publish.
If you want to have those automatically processed then what is required to be configured?
The meaning of "outstanding" objects is: these objects exist in the Quest One Identity Manager (Q1IM) database, but do not exist in the target system.
This is normally caused by a manual deletion of these objects in the target system, e.g. SAP.
Confirm your synchronization settings:
For every object type you have the synchronization behaviour "Objects only in Identity Manager".
- If you set "Identity Manager is slave" all these objects will be DELETED in the Q1IM database.
- If you set the additional option "Only mark objects, do not delete" the object will be set to "outstanding" instead of the deletion taking place.
- And the option "Identity Manager is master" means that the missing objects in the target system will be created there automatically.
