When trying to update the pwdHash attribute from one Active Directory domain to another, you receive the following error accompanied by one of the following error details:
Map operation aborted. Details: Cannot read password hash value for the following object: <DN of user object>
Could not connect to net.tcp://<DChostname>:7148/Quest.CaptureAgentService/PasswordHashManager. The connection attempt lasted for a time span of <timeStamp>. TCP error code 10060: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond <ipAddressOfDC>:7148.
For Quick Connect version 5.4 and above the error will reference /Dell.CaptureAgentServer instead of Quest.CaptureAgentService
An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party. An error occurred when verifying security for the message.
The Quick Connect Capture Agent listens on port 7148 but the port is being blocked.
Time mismatch between the Domain Controller and the Quick Connect server
Open up port 7148 in the firewall to allow the connection to be established.
Correct the time differences between the servers by using the same NTP servers, or manually updating the time.
