How to configure mapping rules from a single source to multiple target users in the same domain?
For example, this may be required to synchronize passwords from a single source domain to multiple users in different OUs in the same target domain.
To map several target accounts to a single source account, add the required number of connections to the target system and then configure per-connection mapping rules for each target connection.
For example, to map users from the HR OU in domain sourcedomain.com to users in the Americas and EU OUs in domain itdomain.com, create mapping rules for each target connection as follows:
Connections:
Mapping Rules:
This way, each source user will be mapped to two different target users in the same domain.
To map source user to more than two target users, simply add connections and mapping rules for each additional target container.
Important: Configure the Target1 and Target2 connections so that there is no scope intersection between the two. Otherwise, the mapping task will report ambiguity errors.
