The QuickConnectServerHost.log file can grow very large. -
Cause
Either the log is set to debug or there are many objects processed with workflows. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Configure Quest One Quick Connect to log to another path.
Locate the QuickConnectServerHost.exe.Config file in the installation folder and open the file in a text editor.
In the file, locate the following line:
<target name="fileTarget" xsi:type="File" CreateDirs="true" fileName="${basedir}${processname}.log" layout="${commonLayout}"/>Modify the fileName attribute to suit the location where you want it to log to.
The following example would log to E:\Logs\QuickCOnnectServerHost.log:
fileName="E:\Logs\${processname}.log"Save the config file and the logging change will be picked up automatically. There is no need to restart the Quick Connect service.
