Cause
This issue is happening because the user is not cached right way due to be in workstation mode.

Resolution
WORKAROUND 1:
Add the user's allow group to the workstation-mode-users-preload
WORKAROUND 2:Do the following command for the user you want to appear:
/opt/quest/bin/vastool user checkacess <username>
Replace information < > with relevant data. The above command should put the user name specified into the cache.
RESOLUTION:
Edit the /etc/opt/quest/vas/vas.conf file and change the vas.conf setting workstation-mode = false.
Changing the workstation mode to false is the only way for certain to guarantee each user who has ever logged onto the machine ends up in the cache
