SSH
1. The username is case sensitive, ensure the username set in User Management matches the case set in the SSH command
2. In the User Management for the CLIUser / CLIAdmin user, ensure a "Restricted IP Address" has not been set.
3. In the User Management for the CLIUser / CLIAdmin user, redownload the key
4. Copy it to the system from where the command will be run.
5. Change the ownership of the key file to the user that will be running the command, and change the permissions to 0700
If it is the correct key for this user and the file permissions/ownership are correct, the command should execute successfully.
Putty / Plink / Pscp1. The username is case sensitive, ensure the username set in User Management matches the case set in the Putty/Plink command
2. In the User Management for the CLIUser / CLIAdmin user, ensure a "Restricted IP Address" has not been set.
3. In the User Management for the CLIUser / CLIAdmin user, redownload the key
4. Convert the key into .PPK format
- Run puttygen, click the 'Load' button and select the key just downloaded (note: select 'All Files' at bottom right of puttygen to view all extensions).In puttygen, click 'Save Private Key'. This may generate a warning about saving without a passphrase - click 'Yes' to save the PPK file.
