When the Quick Connect/Sync Service Capture Agent Service starts there is an event logged in the QC Server event log.
Event ID: 1007, QC
Critical error on Quick Connect service start occurred.
The error details could be either:
Error details: Root element is missing
This issue is caused by a caSvcCfg.xml file which contains malformed or obsolete information.
1. Delete the caSvcCfg.xml file in the following locations:
C:\ProgramData\Dell\Active Roles\Logs\Synchronization Service\caSvcCfg.xml
C:\ProgramData\One Identity\Active Roles\Logs\Synchronization Service\caSvcCfg.xml
2. Restart the Quick Connect/Sync Service Capture Agent Service to allow the configuration file (caSvcCfg.xml) to be regenerated.
