Could not log in via ssh without opening a duplicate Putty session. Initial login attempts fail.
Attempting su to a Unix enabled user will fail the first time and then succeed on the second attempt.
Caching issue. Authentication Services does not cache non UNIX-enabled groups until a user who is a member of one logs in, or the group is looked up specifically using "vastool".
Set expand-ac-groups to true by running the following command:
#/opt/quest/bin/vastool configure vas vas_auth expand-ac-groups true
The above command will edit the /etc/opt/quest/vas.conf file and add the following:
[vas_auth]
expand-ac-groups = true
Please note if you are using VGP that you may need to set this in a group policy.
