Real-time password sync does not work and unable to provision and update password hash.
The following errors may occur:
An error will be received when updating the user attribute (password hash) in a workflow:
"Cannot read password hash value for the following object ... An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party."
Also, when turning off password sync the following error is generated:
"An error occured while modifying the object 'whoever' The server is unwilling to process the request."
There were a couple of places to check to resolve the errors being generated.
1. A previous service connection point referencing an older version of the Sync Engine.
2. The time on the target domain controller is not in sync with the Quick Connect server.
