Deprovision Computer Object -
Description
There is currently an option in the ActiveRoles Server Managment Console and Web Interface to deprovision User Accounts and Group Objects, is there a similar option to deprovision Computer Account objects? -
Resolution
It is not currently possible to deprovision Computer objects in ActiveRoles Server out of the box like Users and Groups.
Alternative Suggestions:
- Create a workflow that would watch for DirSync actions such as Computer Object - Disable or similar. Upon action, perform certain tasks such as move the object and rename the object.
- Create a custom command in the ActiveRoles Server ARServerAdmin Web Interface to invoke a powershell command that would perform the necessary tasks such as disable, rename and or move the computer object to the desired location.
