Can not log into Mac OS system with QAS account. USER "is a system account"
QAS was installed on a Mac OS X system and a user is not able to log in. The checkaccess command returns the following message:
/opt/quest/bin/vastool user checkaccess USERNAME
USERNAME is a system account.
USERNAME is also a QAS user.
This can be caused if the system previously was configured to use another AD directory service, such as Centrify or the Mac OS X built in directory service, and an AD user from this service is still set up on the system.
This can be resolved by going into the Directory Editor tool which is part of Mac OS X and removing the conflicing user from there.
