TPAM updates, patches and hotfixes show as corrupt ZIP files -
Description
After downloading a software update / patch / hotfix when attempting to open the ZIP file it appears corrupt.For example, Windows may error "The Compressed (zipped) folder name.zip is invalid.", Winrar gives the error "Unexpected end of archive" and WinZip errors "Cannot open file 'zipname'. It does not appear to be a valid archive." -
Resolution
This is normal behaviour. TPAMs uses encrypted patches / hotfixes that are not designed to be opened outside of the TPAM appliance. The ZIP should not be uncompressed, unzipped or renamed, and should be applied as is to TPAM appliance.The below KBs give information on how to apply patches to TPAM:
