What browser types does VSJ support?
If Active Directory is deployed and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or above is used on Windows 2000, Windows 2003 or Windows XP, VSJ gives you platform-integrated SSO (Single Sign-on).
For legacy windows clients such as Windows 98, VSJ supports authentication and authorization by providing a fallback to NTLM tokens.
For any other browser and operating system combination, or if Active Directory is not deployed, VSJ provides a fallback to HTTP Basic Authentication. In the fallback case, a separate sign-on is required which will persist for the duration of the browser session.
