Trying to Program a token, but the type is greyed out. There is a Universal License installed with the required type. -
Description
When trying to program a token, it is not possible to select the required type as this is greyed out. -
Cause
Is an older version of the Defender Administration Console installed? -
Resolution
Ensure the versions of the software installed are current and matching.
For example, if the Defender Administration Console is version 5.6 on the workstation being used to program the token, this version will not be correctly be able to utilize an installed Defender 5.7 Universal License.
Installing the current versions (or same versions as required) of the Defender Administration Console on the workstations will ensure that the expected features are available. For example, older versions of the Defender Administration Console will not be aware of newer license types or newer features available within newer versions of the Defender Security Server.
