When trying to apply the VGP policies on the UNIX computer from the command line the following error is displayed in the results:
[vgp_sudoext.so]
CSE: Unable to find visudo (used to find sudoers file)
CSE: Unable to locate the sudoers configuration file
This error occurs because the visudo command is not found in the locations known by VGP. Most cases this has been a result of a custom installation of visudo and an alternate path was specified.
VGP looks for visudo in the following locations:
/usr/sbin/visudo
/usr/local/sbin/visudo
/sbin/visudo
If your visudo is install in another location you can resolve this error by creating a symlink to visudo in one of the locations.
If the above does not resolve the issue, and you are using an older release of QAS, you could be experiencing a known, and fixed, issue.
