Reason Codes are created and maintained under the '/admin' interface via the "System Status/Settings | Reason Codes" menu.
The Global Settings for Category "Request Reasons" may be configured to be:
-Optional-Not Allowed-RequiredNote there is a Global Setting for each "Request Reason": "Reason Code for ISA Release" and "Reason Code for Request". -

This information is from the TPAM 2.5 System Administrator guide chapter 'Global Settings': TPAM 2.5 System Administrator Guide BFER 8644 has been submitted to request additional features to require the drop down reason code be required, but only require the free form entry if the user selects ‘Other’
