When deleting an account, an error is seen:
Error: Delete failed for the following reasons 'account1' is the domain account used for PSM session authentication for 'domain\account2'
When seeing the error:
Error: Delete failed for the following reasons 'account1' is the domain account used for PSM session authentication for 'domain\account2'
It is not possible to delete an account if it is connected as a PSM Session Authentication account for a PSM enabled account.
To resolve the issue, there are two options (the first option is easiest):
1. Hard Delete the 'account2' from our example. (Systems, Account & Collections | Accounts | Deleted Accounts). Now account1 may be deleted as it is no longer the domain account used for PSM Session Authentication.
2. Undelete the account#2; then review and modify the PSM Details | Session Authentication tab to alter the PSM Session Authentication account to be a different account than the account1 that is intended to be deleted. Account1 and account2 may then be deleted if required.
