Password checks for Managed Accounts on Mainframe systems return false positive results.
When the password check is performed in TPAM for an account that no longer exists on the target mainframe system it returns a successful message, rather than stating the account does not exist.
This is a false positive result cause by the fact that TPAM is not recognizing the error throw by the mainframe system. It will only report an error, if it matches the known errors thats TPAM is aware of.
An enhancement request has been submitted to improve the error reporting of failed password checks in TPAM. This fix is currently scheduled to be included in the 2.5.914 release.
