If manually deleting the account in Manager does not work - the delete button was used, but the ADSAccount remains in the list of accounts with a red X - you may delete the account manually using a SQL statement.
(Please note that a manual delete in Manager should complete successfully. One of '*_Delete_RecycleBinActive' or '*_Delete_RecycleBinInActive', followed by '*_Delete_Physical' should run. Check if one of these processes is frozen and for any error messages in the job server log. '*_Delete_Physical' may not have run, this can be forced in the job queue using Ctrl + S.)
The following steps are not a substitute for properly deleting an account using the delete options in Manager. They are meant as a "how to" to bypass that process in the case that normal troubleshooting has not uncovered the cause. We strongly suggest contacting Support for any such issues.
Manually deleting an ADSAccount from the ADSAccount table using UID_ADSAccount:
- Using Object Browser select the SQL menu and choose "New SQL window".
- Use the following DELETE statement to delete the ADSAccount. This requires the UID_ADSAccount value for the account (or the DN or cn - a unique identifier for the row), e.g.:
DELETE from ADSAccount where UID_ADSAccount = '1a2e4d5e-1105-4e99-805a-4e87ac8acbe8'
