Can Active Roles events/reports be forwarded to Splunk? -
Description
Would like to have capability to forward Active Roles events and reporting to Splunk or other reporting applications. -
Cause
Active Roles does not keep any log in a SQL database. Active Roles writes information about performed operations into normal windows eventlog. The Active Roles log is named "EDM Server" in versions 6.x and the Active Roles Admin Service and/or the Active Roles Sync Service event logs for versions 7.x.Active Roles change history has never been intended for external reporting. It was designed for tip-like information for Active Roles admins.* All information about changes are written to the Active Roles event logs.* If you need more auditing solution then we have another product specially designed for that and it is: Change Auditor for Active Directory.
