It is sometimes desirable when configuring “User Enforcement Rule” emails to send them to test users rather than all users scoped to the rule.
1. Navigate to PMAdmin | Home | <Management Policy> | User Scope
Take note of the names of the Groups and Organizational Units allowed access to the self service site.
If there are Organizational Units scoped to the management policy then this process will NOT work.
2. If groups only are scoped then continue.
Add a user to the test group. Ensure that the user is not a direct or nested member of a Group specified in the management policy.
Only uses scoped to the test group will now receive Enforcement Rule Notification emails.
Once testing is complete reverse the changes above in order to ensure all scoped users receive the appropriate notifications.
