Custom schema extension columns are not accessible via Object Browser
Columns added to Identity Manager tables (e.g. Person) are visible in Designer, but are not visible via Object Browser/Manager, and are not accessible via scripts.
For example, the Person table is extended to include a new column (type text), the column is visible in Designer, but when a new Employee record is added via Manager or Object browser, the custom column is not shown.
The column can be seen in Designer, and the permissions listing indicates that "Edit" and "View" are defined correctly.
The local cache needs to be cleared.
Changes made at the schema level may not be immediately available in the front ends such as Object Browser unless the local cache is cleared:
"Database" menu | "Settings": from the "User" tab click the "Clear local cache" button.
"Database" menu | "Configuration": click the "Clear local cache" button.
The local cache directory “%LocalAppData%\Quest Software\Identity Manager\Cache” is emptied when clicking the "Clear local cache" button.
