On the Cache Servers detail tab, there are two network addresses that need to be configured: Secure Bus and Application Interface. The TPAM console appliance communicates to the Cache Server using the Secure Bus address. The script should make web service calls to the Cache Server using the Application Interface address, and this address can be set to an IP address or a DNS name.
TPAM generates certificates based on the values set for these addresses, and installs these certificates onto the Cache Server. Thus, the certificate at one Cache Server network interface will correspond to the Secure Bus address value, and the certificate at the other Cache Server network interface will correspond to the Application Interface address value.
To use a custom certificate for the Application Interface, one can be uploaded using the Upload Custom Application Interface Certificate option on the Details tab of Cache Server properties in the TPAM web interface. There is no option to upload a certificate through the text menu on the Cache Server itself.
Also note that both network interfaces need to be enabled on the Cache Server in order for the custom certificates to import and work properly.
