On TPAM 2.5.916, when using the "Regen HostKey" button under the '/admin' GUI through "Keys | Manage SSH Keys", an error is returned: "Error re-generating host keys: rsa1"
On TPAM 2.5.917, when using the 'Regen Hostkey' button from a key's "Details" tab, the bottom of the screen may display "Successfully re-generated host key", however the browser frame under the "Details" tab may display: "Request failed: 'Results' is undefined"
On TPAM 2.5.917, when using the 'Regen Hostkey" button from the "Manage SSH Keys" "Listing" tab after selecting an appropriate key, the message will display at the bottom: "Successfully re-generated host keys." The Host key will have been successfully altered.
WORKAROUND: The recommended solution is to upgrade to the current 2.5.918 which corrects this issue.
STATUS: There is a Hotfix to correct this issue, Hotfix_8777. Hotfix_8777 will apply to 2.5.916-2.5.917.
Note that this was expected to be corrected in the 2.5.917 Release of TPAM, and had been included in the Release Notes; from the 2.5.917 Release Notes:
"Receive error message when clicking the Regen HostKey button on the Manage SSH Keys page in the /admin interface. BFER 8777"
This issue using the "Regen Hostkey" button has been confirmed to still exist in 2.5.917, and can be corrected via the Hotfix_8777
Please note that in 2.5.917 even after the Hotfix, when using the 'Regen Hostkey' button from the "Details" tab of an SSH key, the bottom right of the screen will show a message that the key has been successfully regenerated and the left hand frame will return an error "Request failed: 'Results' is undefined". It is expected that the 'Regen Hostkey" button should be used from the "Listing" tab and will not show this cosmetic error.
This is a cosmetic error only, and the key will in fact have been altered at this time. This visual warning has been corrected in 2.5.918
When running the 'Regen Hostkey' in 2.5.917 after applying Hotfix_8777 (or after upgrading to 2.5.918) on the 'Listing' section of the SSH Keys, this warning will not be seen.
