When attempting to reset password the following error occurs:
“System error occurred. Contact your administrator
Failed to generate new password”
No additional details are provided in the event viewer within the Password Manager server
Defect ID TF00663365.
If the Max password age rule is not set within Password Policy Manager the password is not able to be reset.
However if both max and min are set there is no issue.
If just max is set with no min it works, see screen shot for defective settings.
As a workaround use Maximum Password age set to a large time value as not to interfere with default domain password policy.
Defect ID TF00663365 has been logged and will be fixed in a future release of Password Manager
