Active Roles 7.0.3 Public Hotfix (multiple fixes) (217453)

This public hotfix addresses the following issues:

1. In Active Roles 7.0.3 Web Interface and MMC Console, for Exchange Room Mailbox, on the User Properties ->Resource Information window, any users added using the RequestInPolicy and RequestOutPolicy options are not displayed on the respective windows. However, the users are displayed only in the Exchange.
2. Active Roles currently does not accept LDAP expressions containing the "Extended Match Operator" for Dynamic Groups. The hotfix enables expressions with the "Extended Match Operator" to pass through the parser by skipping validation of only the specific expressions.
   To enable the fix set up the registry key as follows:
   • After installation, open the Registry Editor by navigating to Start->Run and typing regedit.
   • Navigate to the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Dell\Active Roles\7.0.
   • Create a new DWORD entry named BypassValidationForMatchingRuleOID and set the value to '1'.
   • Setting this value to '0' or deleting the key will disable the fix.
3. In Active Roles 7.0.3, moving multiple user accounts together is not possible if the difference in the length of the DN of a selected user and the length of the DN of the deleted object's container is -1.
4. In Active Roles 7.0.3, ".Net" objects with Persistence property used in workflows do not work successfully.
5. When Active Roles 6.9 and 7.0 are running in parallel on a system, Group family members are removed by a dynamic group process if the cross domain membership is enabled for the dynamic group built-in policy.
   To enable the fix set up the registry key as follows:
   • After installation, open the Registry Editor by navigating to Start->Run and typing regedit.
   • Navigate to the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Dell\Active Roles\7.0\Service.
   • Create a new DWORD (32-bit) entry named "RebuildDG_CoExist" and set the value to '1'.
   • Setting this value to '0' or deleting the key will disable the fix.
6. In Active Roles 7.0.3, for an Exchange Equipment Mailbox, when a user is added as "sendAstrustee", the operation fails with an error "Administrative Policy returned an error. The action 'Set-CASMailbox', 'ActiveSyncMailboxPolicy', may not be performed by the Resource Mailbox "" is displayed.

1. Copy the supplied file Active_Roles-7.0.3-SOL217453.exe.rename to the Dell Active Roles 7.0.3 computer.
2. Remove the .rename file name extension.
3. Run the file Active_Roles-7.0.3-SOL217453.exe and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the hotfix installation.
