Cause
The Active Roles tenant setup for the NAME and DISPLAYNAME are NOT set to the publicly routable/registered domain name. -
Resolution
Ensure that the Active Roles tenant setup for the NAME and DISPLAYNAME are set to the publicly routable/registered domain name. (i.e. mycompany.com) -
Additional Information
A common misunderstanding on this page: The purpose of this configuration here is not to to connect to an Azure AD Application that you have created via the Azure AD portal. The Active Roles needs to create the Azure AD application itself.
