Running an "Authentication activity" reports show no records, despite there being Defender authentications on the DSS.
This report uses the Defender Security servers logs.In the "Management Portal | Configuration | Reports", ensure UNC (Universal Naming Convention) paths have be set. These UNC paths should be pointed towards the Defender Security Server logs.
On 5.9.x the DSS logs are stored in the C:\Program Files\One Identity\Defender\Security Server\Logs directory.
On 5.8.x the DSS logs are stored in the C:\Program Files\Dell\Defender\Security Server\Logs
Ensure this directory is shared out on each DSS, and then configure the Management Portal to use these shares.
In the below example, both the DSS on 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2 are sharing their C:\Program Files\One Identity\Defender\Security Server\Logs paths out as sharename "DSSLog"
