With implementation of feature request #26293, development has added a feature to One Identity Manager which allows for easier job related debug log generation and retrieval. You can find more information about the feature in the documentation.
A job can now have the following log modes:
Full - jobservice always generates debug logs for the job
Error - jobservice generates debug logs for the job if it runs into an error
You can use the Designer to set the flag for a certain process step during job generation:
You can also set the flag on an existing job, e.g. by using emergency stop or on a frozen job, using context menu on the job:
After the job has run, you can view the logs like below. Please note, if you set the flag after the job was frozen, you first have to reactivate it and wait until the jobservice has re-run it.
The jobservice will also include the log location as a link in the logfile, see below:
If you are concerned about logfile retrieval, you could require http authentication on the jobservice webinterface by altering the jobservice configuration. Please check the documentation for further information.
