Description
When trying to connect Identity Manager to an Oracle Database 12c Release 2 from Identity Manager 7.1.2 install, the below error is displayed:"[Devart.Data.Oracle.OracleException] ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol" -
Cause
This is because Identity Manager version 7.1.2 does not support this version of Oracle. -
Resolution
Please utilize a version of Oracle that is listed as Supported in the release notes for the version of Identity Manager being installed.
