Description
Control Center installation fails on Windows 10. Setup has determined that PowerShell is not installed. -
Cause
The Control Center in QAS 4.1 uses Windows PowerShell 2.0 and so that component is required to have it installed. -
Resolution
If using QAS 4.1 then when attempting to install Authentication Services on Windows 10, if the PowerShell 2.0 feature is not installed Control Center fails to install because of the PowerShell checks failure. On windows 10 PowerShell 5.0 is installed by default and the PowerShell 2.0 feature is optional (although it is checked by default on a clean install).
As of QAS 4.2 the PowerShell 2.0 component is no longer required by QAS.
