Are all actions performed by TPAM System Administrators recorded in the Sys-Admin Activity Log? Can this be depended on for auditing purposes? If not, what actions are not included in the log?
Every action that a Sys Admin performs in the /admin interface, should be recorded in the Sys-Admin Activity Log. The amount of detail available for each individual action may be limited, but the action itself should be there.
Typically, this includes such things as:
- Login / Logout events
- Configuration setting change (detail will include which setting was changed)
- Running a backup or a restore
- Apply a patch
- Modifying the Cluster Configuration
- Modifying user settings
