The Deletion of Deprovisioned Objects scheduled task is responsible for deleting objects after their defined retention period. If this task is misconfigured or disabled, user objects will not be deleted.
The Deletion of Deprovisioned Objects scheduled task is located in the following location in the Active Roles Console:
Once located, confirm that the following is properly configured on the scheduled task:
Note: The edsvaDeprovisionDeletionDate attribute is stamped with a time duration determined by the Built-in Policy - User Default Deprovisioning when the object is deprovisioned. If the object is not being stamped with this value, there could be a move operation taking place set within this policy. Moving the object before the Deletes deprovisioned operation is set on the object will cause the value to be blank, and the object will not be deleted at the specified time.
Once confirmed and/or corrected, the task should run at the next scheduled time slot. To execute the task immediately, right click the task, select All Tasks, and then select Execute.
