The favicon (e.g. the small browser icon shown beside the URL of IE browsers) seen by the end user on the One Identity manager (1IM) web portal bears the default out-of-the-box 1IM logo.
What is the process to add a custom logo?
The following steps will outline how to change the favicon for the web portal using Web Designer.
1. Open the Navigation (1) view and open VI_StandardWeb (3) via Web Projects (3):
2. Select the “Settings” icon (1) and navigate to “General Settings”-> “Browser Icon” and click the “+” icon (2) to add in a new setting:
3. After clicking the “+” icon (1) it will be possible to change the URL of the Browser icon (favicon). Provide the URL of the new favicon in the Browser icon field in Details view (2). After doing so click the “Save” or “save all” icon to save changes. Before publishing, it is also advisable to compile (4) to ensure changes do not break anything.
4. Navigate to “Edit” -> “Publish all” -> “Debug” or “Release” to publish the changes to the web portal.
