Description
The vastool service create functionality requires a forward-slash (e.g./[host][@domain]). This is an unsupported character in Azure Error is as follows "Unable to update this object in Azure Active Directory, because the attribute [userPrincipalName], is not valid. Update the value in your local directory services." . -
Cause
Enhancement Request: 802575 -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Use /opt/quest/bin/vastool setattrs to modify the upn value back to something acceptable.
STATUS:
Enhancement request has been submitted for consideration in a future release.
