Validation failed error while installing new Privilege Manager for Sudo 6.1 plugin or Privilege Manager for Unix agent from Management Console for Unix -
Description
The following error messages appear when upgrading/installing a Privilege Manager for Sudo plugin client or Privilege Manager for Unix agent to version 6.1 using Management Console for Unix:
Privilege Manager for Sudo:"Upgrade reported success but could not validate upgraded package (qpm-plugin).May not be properly upgraded"Or"Upgrade reported success but could not validate upgraded package (qpm-server).May not be properly upgraded"
Privilege Manager for Unix:
"Upgrade reported success but could not validate upgraded package (qpm-agent).May not be properly upgraded"
If this is not an upgrade then the first word in the error message will be "Install" instead of "Upgrade" -
Cause

198960 - Using MCU to upgrade to QPM 6.1 appears to fail, but then looks fine after re-profiling -
Resolution
STATUS:
Awaiting a fix in a future release of Management Console for Unix.
WORKAROUND:
Re-profile the host after the upgrade to update the Privilege Manager for Sudo or Privilege Manager for Unix version number shown in Management Console for Unix. -
