This issue can be caused when Active Roles is using Windows Authentication, and the browser may not have the Active Roles Web interface added to Google Chrome under Trusted sites and set Automatic logon with current user name and password.
Note: Windows Authentication is optimized for use with Windows Internet Explorer (IE), and Microsoft Edge for Windows 10 computers.
It is recommended to review the Active Roles Release Notes version being used, and reference the browser versions that were tested with that specific version.
In some cases Google Chrome may upgrade automatically when a new version becomes available, and could cause this issue to be visible to end users.
If the desire is to continue using Google Chrome add your site into Trusted sites, and set Automatic logon with current user name and password in the Local intranet and Trusted sites zone by completing the following:
