After upgrading to 8.1 and applying all patches to MFR synchronization project (e.g. RACF), the project still presents the old module version for Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, e.g. 7.1.2016.901.
On the other hand, when creating a new MFR synchronization project from scratch on the upgraded environment, the module version for Lightweight Directory Access Protocol is showing the correct version.
The old version display for Lightweight Directory Access Protocol for MFR synchronization projects is working as designed.
The mainframe module (MFR) is not a connected system module, does not have any default schema or synchronization project template. Therefore it does not receive any milestone patches which could increase the version.
On the other hand, DPR and TSB modules do receive shell milestone patches because of the OneIM connector for the "left" side connection of the synchronization project.
Even though the old version display is expected and should not cause any issues, we recommend to re-read the target system schema and testing all use cases as part of OneIM version upgrade projects.
