How Email Notification for partition owner works ? -
Resolution
These system-owned platform task events -- account discovery, check password, change password, etc. are all sent to partition owners. If there are no partition owners then it will send it to the asset admin - otherwise it will only send the notifications to the explicit owners so the asset admin doesn't get flooded with notifications about the world.
NOTE: If Asset Administrators want to be notified along with the Partition Owners, they can set themselves up as an explicit owners orcreate an email subscription for the event (for example, IsSystemOwned=false). The API /service/core/v3/EventSubscribers endpoint can be used to create event subscribers for events, including events on specific assets or accounts.These events triggers the emails:Account Discovery FailedDependent Asset Update FailedPassword Change FailedPassword Check FailedPassword Check MismatchPassword Reset NeededRestore Account FailedSsh Host Key MismatchSsh Key Change FailedSsh Key Install FailedSuspend Account FailedTest Connection Failed -
