Some deployments of Active Roles may show the replication status as Unknown in the Active Roles Console.
Replication is fully configured and working. The replication status is retrievable via the SQL Management Studio of Publisher’s instance and all the permissions for the relevant databases (including publisher’s instance system database: AelitaDistributionDB) are effectively in place.
This is related to a SQL issue which affects multiple versions.
Apply the latest service pack for the SQL version installed.
