Statistics Stop Generating and Syslog-ng Hangs -
Description
Syslog-ng, when processing its statistics at the period set by the stats-freq() in the syslog-ng.conf, hangs and the statistics never generate.

Cause
A defect has been found where when a large number of statistics needs to be generated, Syslog-ng will hang and the statistics will not be generated.

Resolution
This issue has been resolved in version 7.0.22 of Syslog-ng PE.
Please upgrade to 7.0.22 or newer to resolve this issue.
One Identity support recommends upgrading to the latest available version of Syslog-ng PE. -
