No. When "Asset Discovery" is used against a Directory, the "Network Address" is imported from the dNSHostName attribute on the Computer object in AD.
In order to correct the "Network Address" it would need to be corrected in AD:
- Update the Computer in Active Directory computer object so it has the correct DNSHostName. This can be done from ADUC, under the General tab for the Computer object.
- Wait for the Directory to synchronise again in Safeguard (default is 15 minutes) or from Admin tools | Asset | Select your Directory | Synchronise Now button on the toolbar.
