Description
The Active Roles Synchronization Service has replaced Quick Connect and now includes out-of-the-box connectors which work with the most common connected systems. There are no additional connector packs for the Active Roles Synchronization Service. Quick Connect had legacy connectors from optional connector packs which no longer exist in the Active Roles Synchronization Service. Is it possible to get the Active Roles Synchronization Service capture agents to communicate with the Quick Connect Sync Engine? -
Cause
By default, Synchronization Service uses a built-in certificate to encrypt traffic between the Capture Agent and the Synchronization Service.Backward compatibility for Quick Connect v5.5 with Active Roles Synchronization Service Capture Agent v7.x can be achieved by leveraging a custom certificate signed with any SHA algorithm.NOTE: SSL certificates signed with an MD5 algorithm are not supported. -
