1) When running "/opt/quest/bin/vastool status" you see the output:
INFO: 724 System is not defined as in a site

WARNING: No Site Membership Detected.
3) When running "vgptool apply" you see the error:
# vgptool apply
Could not determine site
VGP is unable to determine the Active Directory site your VAS host is connected to. Non-site Group Policy Objects (GPOs) will still be applied to the machine.
If a server is not assigned to a site then vasd will automatically select a site to choose DCs from based on response times.
If the VAS host is configured to use SRV records. Ensure the IP address that the VAS client is on is configured in a site inActive Directory. This is done through Active Directory Sites and Services | Subnets.
Set the site option at join time
# /opt/quest/bin/vastool join -u <username> join -s <sitename> <domainname>
If the machine is already joined you can configure the site option in vas.conf by running the below command. Replacing Default-First-Site-Name with the site name.
# /opt/quest/bin/vastool configure vas libvas site-name-override Default-First-Site-Name
