When trying to run a "Batch Import" or "Batch Update" in TPAM, an error is returned when processing. An example of the error that may be seen:
"Importing the data into a scratch table ... Auto-Detect File type=CSV, Row Delimiter=CRLF, Header columns=detected First non-empty row seems to contain headers. winadsvcaccts.csv Successfully loaded for processing: 200 rows, 15 columns ... Processing scratch table to work table... ERROR:Unexpected DB Error processing Scratch table ..."
The more specific errors "There were no valid accounts to add" or "There were no valid systems to add" may also be seen.
This error can be seen when one of the values in the import file is outside of the range supported by that field.
Please review the file that is being imported. The specific "Batch Processing" page (eg, "Import Accounts") will have further detail on the error.
One example is the "Release Duration" field has a possible value of 0-10080. If this field in the import file is larger than this value, the DB error may been seen.
To further troubleshoot, it may be helpful to test importing only one record as a test. It may further help if the number of columns being imported is reduced to narrow down the problem area(s).
