After upgrading Java, PSM Sessions will not start. The full text of the error: "SecurityException: Missing required Permissions manifest attribute in main jar: https://tpam_address/sshvnc/sshvnc-edmz.jar".
Please try the below options - option #1 should correct this issue with Java 7.0.51.
1. If this is java 7.0.51, on the workstation under the Java Control Panel applet, under the "Advanced" tab, locate the "Mixed Code (sandboxed vs trusted) security verification.
Ensure that "Enable - show warning if needed" is selected. You should be able to leave the Security Slider on the "Security" tab to "high" in this case.
If option #1 does not work, please try option #2 (Note: the "Exception Site List" was added in Java 7.0.51):
2. Add the TPAM URL to the Exception List located on the Java "Security" tab.
-Go to the Java Control Panel applet
-Click on the Security tab
-Click on the Edit Site List button
-Click the Add in the Exception Site List window.
Note SOL117420 (linked below) references a Hotfix_5890 that may be applied to the TPAM appliance to possibly correct this issue. If applying the Hotfix is preferable to modifying the Java options on the workstations, please contact support to confirm the Hotfix is appropriate for your issue.
