Having trouble enrolling DPA with a new TPAM appliance: the enrollment process initially reports successful, but then subsequent connectivity tests fail.
One possible error seen from the DPA when testing the connection to the TPAM Appliance: "Unable to identify TPAM Console connection information".
Verify that the TPAM appliance has at least one SSH key.
- Sign into the '/admin' interface using the parmaster (or equivalent) account.
- Select 'Keys | Manage SSH Keys'.
There must be at least one SSH key for DPA registration to function correctly.
If there is no key listed, generate one in the GUI:
If the DPA would not previously enroll and the TPAM appliance did not have any SSH keys, this may resolve the issue.
Other problems enrolling DPA are typically firewall (port 22 must be open on both the TPAM appliance and the DPA) or network configuration on the appliances (confirm the IP and gateway on both TPAM appliance and DPA are correct). Please review KB articles in 'Additional Information' if issues persist with enrolling the DPA.
