Running the "vastool status override user" command fails when it should not.
Status:
Fixed Quest Authentication Services 3.5.2 and higher
Here is an example of the command failing with a perfectly valid override file:
[root@rhel4-idm ~]# vastool status -v override user
Verifying sanity of user-override file...
/etc/opt/quest/vas/user-override:
(line 1) user1@idmdomain.com:ANYUSER::::::
Found valid AD user (user1@idmdomain.com)
Home directory () must be absolute path
Invalid number of fields.

have the following fields:
<UPN>|<Group>|*:<login>:<UID>:<GID>:<GECOS>:<home directory>:<shell>
